We feel it most when the skies are grey and the air is heavy and moist,
when the bank balance isn't what we would like it to be,
when you feel just that little bit exposed and vulnerable.
These are the time we truly wish
the relationship that has just ended would have gone a million other ways,
because we know that the way it did end
was the only way that could have possibly meant
that would be feeling alone as we do at that moment.
